Don't think timing matters, Bill Gross says it does
Hard lessons learned in being first to market, when what matters more is timing.

A few years ago I was wondering why my ideas didn't scale well. I determined that one factor was timing. In 2011 I wrote:
Some say timing is the most important thing. I say it's the only thing.
Here Bill Gross discussed the single biggest reason why startups succeed. Turns out I was typically too early to market. As David Bowie said, "It's not who does it first, it's who does it best."
