Almost everyone involved in the business of music has a view on the industry’s future. Some (such as Bob Lefsetz and Ted Cohen) believe the only way recorded music can survive is to embrace streaming models.

These models will do for artists that which the iTunes store (unbundling the album) did for recording companies: financial death. Ironically it will be great for rights holders.

Once WMG and EMI’s offer prices are in the toilet I’d buy both.
