Apple’s Magic Mouse to the rescue

The past week saw one of our iMacs on the road while the Red Hill team attended the Byron Bay Writers Festival. I forget to take my mouse … and so any thoughts that design work would take place went out the window. Doh!

Anyhow, I managed to find a store that sold Apple bits and purchased a Magic Mouse. My Mighty Mouse – which I intensely dislike due to the track ball frequently becoming clogged and the speed with which it burnt through batteries (really bad design!) – is now off my desk.

So can the Magic Mouse do for me what the Mighty Mouse couldn’t? Looking good so far.

Watch the magic mouse burn thru batteries as well. Hence why I went to Aldi recently and purchased a 30 pack of AA’s for $5.99!!!

Mmm, I’ve noticed. I decided to ignore Apple’s advice and use rechargeable batteries. They work fine, but 30 AAs for six bucks is nuts. Wouldn’t see that at Colesworths ;-)
